September 2021 We've added two new features to the website. Follow these links from the dropdown menu on almost every page, including this one. 1)  We are now on Facebook 2) We now have a sophisticated Excel Spreadsheet (Workbook) that Event Hosts can use to login attendees and create all sorts of reports and more. .

August 2021 There will not be a general meeting in Sept.  Instead, we will have the famous Triple Crown BBQ Smoke Out Picnic at Sarazen Park.  This event is open to all club members and guest.  You do not have to participate in the Tournament to attend the picnic. CLICK HERE to for the flyer & to register for the picnic. Note:  The picnic starts a 4:00pm (NOT @ NOON!!)  The cooks will be cooking their BUTTS off all day preparing your meal! It is no longer possible to register for the Triple Crown  tournament.  Registration closed on August 31st, If you are thinking of joining the club hold off until Sept 1st or after.  If you join from Sept 1st on your new member fee will cover your membership from then until the end of the following year...as much as 16 months...what a deal!

July 2021 The Triple Crown tournament is under way. The year long Offshore Tournament is in it's 7th month and now closed to new registrations.  There's still time to register for the Triple Crown, but time is running out! Register now. Click here to the current standings for both tournaments.

August There's a new form on the website that helps you get in touch with a specific club officer.  We have been having trouble with hackers stealing officers email addresses and creating Spam messages asking for money, while masquerading as a Club Officer.  To stem that we have removed almost all email addresses from the website.  Use this form to let us know who you want to communicate with and we will hook you up...MSC Webmaster CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT THE NEW FORM. October 2017 Well, Hurricane Irma came and went, leaving behind a disaster area in SW Florida.  Our October Redfish tournament was scaled down to a much smaller event.  Other Sept events were cancelled.  See the coming events page for details. We are slowly getting things together.  Consider making a donation to the Everglades City Relief Fund organized by Mike Larsen.  The club has provided some matching funds. The company that hosts our website has stopped supporting my software, and I am forced to migrate our website to a new platform. There is a significan learning curve for me.

1. Added more pictures.  The Something Fishy Tournament & Picnic pictures are now on the web! Remember that the picture gallery has been split into multiple pages for faster loading.  When you click on "pictures" in the index to the left you will always get the most current pictures (i.e. page 1).  Notice the "more pictures -> Page 1  2  3  4 " at the top of the page?  This leads you to the other pages.  Happy viewing, and send your pics to marcoman357@aol.com to be included.

Added a new page about the "Fish of the Month" contest.  See "Contests!" in the index to the left.  The club has picked a particular fish species for each month.  The member with the largest one caught that month will win a $25 gift certificate!   But, you must click on "Contests!" and register your catch...check out the rules on the "Contests!" page.

4. Added an archive of past and current newsletters.  See "Newsletters" in the index to the left.  They are easy to download.  The November issue has been posted.  Download now!  Don't wait for your paper copy to arrive in the mail!  More on this later.
