How to save money registering your boat	HENDRY COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR 2020 UPDATE: LAST TIME I CHECKED THIS NO LONGER WORKED...LOOP HOLE WAS CLOSED Registering your boat is a Florida state function and can be done in any county, regardless of where the boat is stored or used. Each county sets their own rates. Hendry County in central Florida has rates about 30% less than Collier. You'll need to call to register. Have your boat registration number (ie FL2451) ready so they can look up your information. They take credit cards, and will mail the registration and decal to you.
