Fishing Buddies Lists

As mentioned at
the May 2006 Meeting, we are now maintaining lists of interested fishermen that
our boaters can call to find MSC members
to join them for a day of Gulf
or Backwater fishing. These outings would be above and beyond our normal
monthly backwater and gulf fishing days.

Backwater and bays fishing
All arrangements regarding departure time, food /drinks
and the sharing of bait and fuel costs are between the captain and the
passengers. With today’s fuel costs,
helping with the gas is important. The Captain‘s goal is to give the
riders a call, providing them with a 24-hour notice.
It is your responsibility to share operating costs with the
Captain. Typical offshore boats get less than 2 miles per gallon, while
backwater boats typically get 3 to 4 miles per gallon.

Do you have a boat and are willing to take people (yes
or no)

Months on Marco (N D, J, F, M, etc)

Any notes, such as not available on Monday, no smoking,
etc.
You will be added to the list.
While we can’t guarantee this will get you a ride, this is a
starting point. Now that we have
both Backwater and Gulf Fishing Buddies Lists, we hope it helps us get more
of our members out on the water.
